The steriods have improved my batting average

Aloysius at Catymology tagged me for the Seven Random Things About Me meme, so I must respond. Here are the rules for this. Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Kitties who are tagged need to discuss the seven things in their blog and also include the rules. Bloggers need to choose seven felines to tag and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and ask them to read your blog.

My dear Aloysius, this is just what I needed. I have been in a slump for several weeks and while I have written entries in my blog, I have published none of it.

1. Last week I got tangled up in the rose bushes. I got stuck by one of the thorns and developed a huge lump under my chin. I was taken to see the vet and tried to climb into the red sharps box. I don't know why, it was there.

2. I didn't really attend public school in Sonoma, like my bio says. I actually was sent to Phillips Exeter in New Hampshire. I played on the water polo team (only feline to do so). Unfortunately, I was expelled after getting caught passed out and naked under one of the pipes of the Fratelli Rouffatti organ in the campus Cathedral. Apparently, I was trying to snort catnip through the sounding "C" pipe.

3. I have been known to bite my campaign manager awake in the morning if I am terribly hungry.

4. I have allergies. I developed this frantic washing and scratching behavior at the age of six months and I go through periods where I make myself bloody and must take steroids. The drugs have improved my batting average.

5. I recently applied for a job as a mommy blogger. I did not get the position given that I do not have a valid drivers license, so I could not drive the family van and chauffeur the kids about. I also do not know how to vacuum and wear high heels at the same time.

6. When I hear my campaign manager's car coming down the street, I run out and greet her, which causes a traffic jam while throw myself in front of her car and roll around on my back in happiness.

7. I have a new friend. He is a snowshoe kitty with brown eyes. He comes over every morning and sings to me. I do not know his name, but we have been known to dance all afternoon.

Wow, Cato! You have an extremely busy life. You're the only cat I know who has played both water polo and baseball. I'm sorry to hear about your allergies and the rose bush incident. Take care!
